RZ 250 "Jena" - Building process 3

Building process 3

3D side components installed


 

FPV transmitter was installed on back side with antenna exiting from the back 3D elements while a custom connector to reach the cc3d mini usb was prepared and installed on left side. This will allow to connect the CC3d to the PC without any disassembly.



Finally the Nano CC3D access opening was covered by a carbon plate fixed to the top frame plate that incorparate also a battery strap.




RZ 250 "Jena" finally completed and ready for testing.

Overall weight including Mobius and battery (ready to fly) is 460 gramms.

CC3D Nano Atom installed over the PDB on a dedicated carbon fiber plate


Then Motor cables were directly soldered to the relevant ESC


and all exposed electronics protected with Liquid Tape

Drawings were sent to CNC cutting company as well top 3D printer hub for manufacturing.


Few days after ......

The buildng process started with installation of PDB and all esc

       

Arms were mounted with 12 mm boom block with o'rings

All ESC and cc3d power cables were soldered to the PDB

First Steps



  • I started designing the base frame in autocad including in the bottom plate all electronics .









2 opening were included to:


- mount the CC3D Mini Power distribution board
- access the CC3d Nano Atom


  • Later on I transfer the DWG to 123D  to design the side 3D printed components.
